Africa-Asia Youth Foundation (AAYFO) Campus Ambassador program seeks to engage with student across institutions to inspire and-build hub for young leaders across the African and Asian continents. The AAYFO campus Ambassador program shall Consist of monthly virtual meetings, regular calls to action, mentor ship, and thorough support from Africa-Asia Youth Foundation dedicated team members.

As a Campus Ambassador, You become an advocate for opportunity and progress, helping to increase and create awareness about AAYFO agendas, facilitate networking opportunities and cultivate new membership.

Responsibilities include:

  • About 2-3 hours per week of time commitment.
  • Building and manage social media accounts of AAYFO Campus Page.
  • Regular attendance of monthly virtual conference calls with AAYFO executive team members and other Campus. Ambassadors.
  • Plan and organize workshops and other activities to educate peers.
  • Organizing student meetups and presentation sessions to promote AAYFO and expand members network of AAYFO.

Selection criteria:

  • Students with a leadership, presentation and Social Media skills.
  • Regular attendance on monthly virtual conference calls with AAYFO executive team members and other Campus Ambassadors.
  • Influential, trustworthy, organized and responsive.
  • Students who are self-starters, outgoing, resourceful and well-connected at University.
  • Previous volunteering experience is an advantage;
    English language is a preference but not a must;
    Good problem-solving abilities.
